An oversized or undersized system installed without a real load calculation will short-cycle or never keep up, no matter how good the equipment is. We start with actual measurements, not a tonnage guess.
A large share of comfort complaints in existing Larkspur homes trace back to sizing at installation, not a failing part. We run a room-by-room load calculation, inspect ductwork, and check electrical capacity before quoting equipment, every time.
Standards we hold on every job.
We calculate room by room, so equipment matches the home.
We pull permits and follow code, not shortcuts that cause resale headaches.
A written labor warranty backs the install, on top of manufacturer coverage.
Existing ducts get inspected for leaks and sizing before new equipment is connected, not just bolted onto whatever's there.
What the process actually includes.
A full Manual J assessment covers all four to land on the correct equipment size.
Recommendations are based on your actual load numbers, not the highest-margin unit, not upsell pressure.
We test and correct ductwork to match new equipment's airflow needs.
We confirm the home can support the new system before scheduling.
The install covers everything through startup testing to confirm performance.
Permitting is handled on our end, useful if you ever sell the property.
Four steps from assessment to a properly sized system.
We book an in-home visit — sizing can't be done accurately by phone.
A tech shows up with load calculation tools and measures the property for a room-by-room walk.
You get equipment options at different budgets, based on actual data.
Installation is completed and warrantied once the job's done.
Recent reviews from full system installs.
We were quoted a 4-ton unit by two other companies without anyone measuring the house. Actual load calc came back at 3 tons, saved us on equipment cost.

Ductwork in the crawl space hadn't been touched since the house was built in the 90s. They flagged and fixed several disconnected joints before hooking up the new system.
— D. Osei-Bonsu, homeowner
As a first-time homebuyer I had no idea what to ask about during an install. They walked me through every decision without making me feel rushed.

New building we manage needed three rooftop units installed on a tight construction deadline. They coordinated with our GC and hit the date.

What people usually ask before installing.
Existing systems are frequently mis-sized, so matching it doesn't fix the underlying issue.
Most homes are done in one day, and we'll flag upfront if yours looks like a two-day job.
Yes, pulled and managed on our end.
Labor is warrantied separately from the manufacturer's coverage, protecting you if something's wrong with the install itself.
Ductwork gets resized or rerouted to match the new equipment.
Ask about it when you get your quote — a few options are usually on the table depending on the system you pick, since terms vary by what you choose.
Our coverage extends through Larkspur and nearby zips — call to schedule.
